1kg Chocolate Sponge Cake Mix
4 Eggs (medium)
400ml Water
Preheat
Preheat oven to 150°C
Mix
Place ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix on low for 1 minute. Scrape down sides and continue mixing on top speed for 5 minutes, reduce to speed 2 and mix for a further 3 minutes. Pour into lined baking tin.
Bake
Bake at 150°C
8ā Round tin ā bake for approx. 80 minutes (1kg mix)
10ā Round tin ā bake for approx. 120 minutes (2kg mix)
12ā Round tin ā bake for approx. 180 minutes (3kg mix)
Note: Baking times may vary depending on your oven. For best results cover your tin with foil before baking.
Storage conditions
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight.
