Directions for Use
1kg Fruit Cake Mix
6 Eggs (medium)
500ml Water
1kg Sultanas
30g Glycerine
120g Mixed peel
200g Glazed cherries
Preheat
Preheat oven to 150°C
Mix
Place Fruit cake mix, eggs and water into a bowl and mix on low for 1 minute. Scrape down sides and continue mixing on speed 2 for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix on low until fruit is evenly dispersed (approximately 2 minutes). Pour into lined baking tin.
Best results are obtained by washing and draining sultanas then blending with cherries and mixed peel, glycerine and rum paste. Place into a covered container and leave overnight.
Bake
Using a 10ā round tin, bake at 150°C for approx. 120 minutes in the oven. For best results cover your tin with foil.
Note: Baking times may vary depending on your oven.
Storage conditions
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight.
